Welcome to the ownership network of Slovenian media #
The purpose of this site is to display, explain and share our research on media ownership in Slovenia from 2000-2022. While many of our findings were published elsewhere, here is where we present our interactive displays of networks. These are generated based on the data that was collected throughout the years as part of different research projects here at The Peace Institute.
Aside from the networks themselves you will find instructions on how to use and read them, explainations of our analysis and calculations, information on data gathering and sources and links to other resources. There is a also a special blog section of the website, where we document any progress or changes.
The data is publicly available from our code repository, which also contains detailed descriptions of the variables.
We invite researchers, professionals and the general public to explore and use the networks and datasets.
